“Link is Blocked”
When using LockDown Browser (2.0.0.02 and earlier) with a Canvas test, some (but not all) students are unable to click to the next question in an exam. LockDown Browser displays “Link is Blocked” in the menu bar:
Since the issue only occurred for some but not all students, we suspect some sort of corruption occurred with the underlying URLs when navigating to the next question in the exam.
Removing the LockDown Browser requirement resulted in a restart that would have cleared out any previous corruption. It’s very likely if the student had used the Student Early Exit to close the browser, check any network connections, restart LockDown Browser browser and continue the exam, they would have likely not encountered the issue again.
Respondus suggested: Ask the student to click Student Early Exit to close the browser, check any network connections, and restart the test. This cannot be tested until the current (8/23) MS Licensing issue is resolved.
